PIXELFORGE / ABOUT

About PixelForge.

A bit about me and why I make games.

Just a hobbyist who loves games.

I'm PixelForge, a 31-year-old hobbyist game developer. I grew up with Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, and video games have always been a big part of my life.

I'm especially a huge fan of Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II and Buu's Fury on the Game Boy Advance. Those games left a lasting impression on me, and they're a big reason I became interested in making my own games.

I also grew up playing the Pokémon series and Yoshi's Island. I still have a soft spot for those older Nintendo games and their pixel art.

The Pokémon series is another longtime favorite of mine.

Learning by making things.

I'm not a professional game developer. I work on projects in my spare time, mostly using Godot, learning new things and figuring stuff out as I go.

I enjoy experimenting with gameplay systems, pixel art, combat mechanics and RPG features. I also like sharing progress through videos and devlogs.

My projects.

My main project is currently Dragon Ball: Legacy of Goku Origins, a free fan-made action RPG.

I've also made smaller projects like DBZ Godot Prototype and Flappy Dino Z.

PixelForge is where I share all of that, along with whatever I decide to work on next.

Why support PixelForge?

All my games will always be free to play. Supporting PixelForge is completely optional and doesn't unlock paid versions, early access or gameplay advantages.

If you enjoy what I make, your support helps cover website hosting, server maintenance, downloads and development tools. It's also a little extra motivation for me to keep learning, experimenting and making games.

You never have to pay to enjoy my projects.
